“If the divine creator has taken pains to give us delicious and exquisite
things to eat, the least we can do is prepare them well”
We wanted to provide, without question, the best salads in the city and make it a memorable experience. If you've never experienced a chopped salad you're in for a pleasant surprise. The combinations are fabulous and we chop to the perfect eating size and toss it in the dressing of your choice. Each of the 12 salads are also available in a wrap. For the first time ever we'll be giving "Chop Chop" cards that allow you to get your 10th salad FREE. Each salad and wrap also has a calorie count for those that find that important. So what are you waiting for...let's get chopping!
Eating Never Tasted So Good.
"I'll Have That With A Schmear"
We're going to rock your dinner
world. See how we do it!
Our dinner service has become hugely popular and for good reason. We knock it out of the park. Why go out for dinner and come home with a ho-hum experience. That’s never going to happen at the CB&D.

To make dinner that much more interesting we’ve added a few new dishes. We tried to find a decent Texas fried steak in town, and for some reason it doesn't exist. Ours is served with excellent pepper white gravy and mashed potatoes. Add the famous Morton’s cream spinach and eating couldn’t get much better. Or can it? How about a Bay Cioppino, a stew bowl of fresh cod, mussels, shrimp and scallops in an angry tomato wine sauce over rice or pasta.

Since we’re getting these beautiful sea scallops in daily, we then came up with the French Laundry plate. The most perfectly grilled scallops served on top of a portabella and shitake mushroom risotto with truffle oil and a parmesan crisp. Visit an English pub without leaving town by ordering the fish and chips platter. Served with wild cole slaw and the old clsasic tarter and a spicy red seafood sauce. We also added 3 new mussel bowls that includes Coconut Curry as well as a French and Moroccan style. The mussels this year are plump and sweet. The sauces for each of these mussel bowls just begs for you to tear apart our crusty hot garlic sea shell bread balls and sop up every wonderful drop.

Never been thrilled with the fried green tomatoes you've run across in a restaurant? Our's won't disappoint! Served atop a grilled red pepper coulis and fresh blue crab meat.

Check out the rest of our dinner menu and make plans for friends and family to eat with us soon. As always, if it’s your birthday, your entrée is free with a party of 6 or more and best of all we can make whatever birthday cake you want because remember, we’re a real bakery. We’ll also supply the candles! Just give us a 24-hour heads up.
At the CB&D the classic bagel and lox stands out as one of the area's emblematic culinary titans. Like so many Jewish food favorites, this simple sandwich is rooted in an immigration story. In the 1800s inexpensive, already-cooked lox - a derivation of the Yiddish word for Salmon was born to Eastern European Jews. In the 1930s, a Kraft-sponsored radio show hyped the combination of bagels and cream cheese and within a decade, the Jewish answer to the cheeseburger had caught on.

Today, there are endless numbers of combinations of bread, spread and fish - from the pared-down purist versions to the profane bastardizations (the blueberry bagel with maple cream cheese.)
